DUE TO THE CURRENT PUBLIC ORDER DISTURBANCES IN NEW CALEDONIA AND THE IMPOSSIBILTY OF REFUELLING, THE NEW CALEDONIAN MARITIME AUTHORITIES ARE ADVISING YACHTSMEN AND SAILORS AGAINST CALLING AT OR ANCHORING IN NEW CALEDONIAN WATERS. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY SAILORS SHOULD CONTACT THE NEW CALEDONIA COSS AND HEAD FOR THE PORT OF NOUMEA.
