Getting Started

This map displays coordinates from NAVAREA warning messages. On first load, you'll only see statistics showing how many coordinates and messages are available. Follow the steps below to view and interact with the data.

Applying Filters

• Use the Filter by NAVAREA dropdown to select warnings from a specific region
• Become a contributor to unlock keyword filtering
• Archived messages are available to contributors
• Click Apply Filters to display the points on the map

Navigating the Map

• Click and drag to move the map
• Use mouse wheel or pinch gesture to zoom in/out
• Click on a marker to view details about the warning message
• Click "Show Only This Message" in a popup to isolate all coordinates from one message
• Use the Messages list to quickly find specific warning messages

Understanding Map Markers

• ● Blue markers: Active (current) warning messages
• ● Gray markers: Archived warning messages
• ● Green markers: Currently selected message coordinates
• ● Isolated markers: Isolated coordinates from a message
• Markers may cluster into circles with numbers when zoomed out
• Zoom in to see individual markers

Message Selection

• When viewing a single message, you'll see a notification at the top of the map
• Selected message points will change color to green for easy identification
• To exit message view, click the × button in the notification
• Important: You must exit message view before applying new filters
